Course of OSHA Safety Standards in Construction for Skilled Workers

The construction industry split in three main areas: Housing, Multifamily and Commercial projects.

With few exceptions, the way it works is that a Developer hire a General Contractor to build the project from scratch to finish.

The General Contractor also, hire several subcontractors for each trade, such as framing, sheetrock and finish, painting, electric, cleaning, among many others.

Each Subcontractor has their own crews which can be from few workers to hundreds of workers in one of several jobs going on at the same time.

In regards of Safety, this workers by trades must comply with all mandatory general OSHA Safety Standards and the specific safety standards set for each trade.

Framing is the name of the building structure and can be built in wood or metal according to the project. To work in framing, workers must use some tools for this specific trade.
